1. Our Family-Safe Commitment

Memento Vid Enhancements™ by MMP® provides family-safe creative editing services.

In this policy, Memento Vid Enhancements™ by MMP® may be referred to as “MVE,” “we,” “us” or “our.”

MVE does not accept work involving pornography, sexual activity, nudity or exploitative content.

Customers must review this policy before uploading or sharing any photographs, clips, recordings or other files.

2. Material We Will Not Accept

Customers must not submit:

  • pornographic material;

  • sexually explicit material;

  • images, videos or recordings of sexual activity;

  • adult nudity;

  • sexually explicit adult semi-nudity;

  • sexualised material;

  • abusive or exploitative content;

  • material that may endanger another person;

  • unlawful material; or

  • any material that falls outside the family-safe purpose of MVE services.

This restriction applies even where the customer believes that the material is private, personal, artistic or intended only for limited sharing.

MVE may refuse, pause or close any project containing prohibited material.

3. Children and Young People

Customers must not submit nude or semi-nude images, videos or recordings of anyone under the age of 18.

This rule applies regardless of the customer’s intended meaning or the circumstances in which the material was created.

For example, customers must not submit bath-time images, changing images, intimate family photographs or any other nude or semi-nude material involving a child or young person.

This is a strict MVE service boundary. It is intended to protect children, customers and the MVE team and to prevent inappropriate material from entering the editing workflow.

Customers may submit ordinary family photographs and clips featuring children where the necessary permission has been obtained and the content is suitable for a family-safe editing service.

4. What Happens if Prohibited Adult Material Is Submitted

Where prohibited adult material is submitted, MVE may:

  • stop reviewing the request;

  • refuse or close the project;

  • remove the material from the editing workflow;

  • securely delete the material from active storage as soon as reasonably practical; and

  • decline further work from the customer where appropriate.

MVE will not edit, enhance, publish or distribute prohibited adult material.

5. Safeguarding Concerns Involving a Child or Young Person

Where submitted material raises a genuine concern about possible:

  • child sexual abuse;

  • child exploitation;

  • grooming;

  • sexualised imagery involving a child;

  • indecent or illegal imagery;

  • coercion;

  • abuse; or

  • the immediate safety of a child or young person,

MVE will stop processing the material immediately.

MVE may report the concern to the police, CEOP, the Internet Watch Foundation or another appropriate safeguarding authority.

MVE will not unnecessarily copy, forward, share, download or circulate suspected illegal material.

Where appropriate, MVE will follow the instructions of the relevant authority concerning preservation, access, reporting or deletion.

Serious safeguarding concerns may be reported without further notice to the customer.

6. Accidental or Inappropriate Uploads

Where an unsuitable file appears to have been uploaded accidentally and does not raise a safeguarding or legal concern, MVE may remove the file, securely delete it from active storage and ask the customer to provide a suitable replacement.

MVE may still refuse or close the project where the content falls outside the family-safe purpose of the service.

7. Customer Responsibility

Before uploading or sharing files, customers must check their selected materials carefully.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted files:

  • are appropriate for a family-safe editing service;

  • do not contain pornography or sexual activity;

  • do not contain adult nudity;

  • do not contain nude or semi-nude images or recordings of anyone under 18;

  • do not exploit, sexualise or endanger another person;

  • have been supplied with the necessary permission and authority; and

  • comply with the MVE Terms & Conditions / Service Policy.

Customers must not assume that MVE will filter or edit inappropriate material on their behalf.

8. Permission to Submit Files

Customers must only submit photographs, clips, audio recordings, written materials and other files that they own or have the necessary permission and authority to provide.

Where children, young people or vulnerable individuals appear in suitable family-safe materials, the customer confirms that the necessary permission has been obtained.

Where a child or young person appears, the customer confirms that they are:

  • the parent or legal guardian; or

  • authorised by the parent or legal guardian to provide the material for editing.

MVE may request further confirmation where appropriate.

9. Refusal, Pause or Closure

MVE may refuse, pause or close a request where:

  • submitted content is unsuitable;

  • prohibited material is supplied;

  • permissions are unclear;

  • a safeguarding concern arises;

  • continuing the project may create legal, ethical or reputational risk; or

  • the request falls outside the family-safe purpose of the service.

Any refund decision will depend on the circumstances, the work already completed and the customer’s applicable legal rights.
