BIBLE.READ Subscription & Free Trial Terms
Last updated: 17th September 2026
BIBLE.READ™ is operated by Mish Mash Publications Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16121640, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: info@mishmashpublications.com.
These terms apply to paid BIBLE.READ subscriptions, including the 7-day free trial. By starting a free trial or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.
1. BIBLE.READ Membership
BIBLE.READ is a digital Bible reading, listening, and Christian media service designed for use on television and other compatible devices.
Membership may include Scripture reading, Bible narration, synchronised read-along highlighting, bookmarks, personal notes, voice-to-text notes, reading history, saved reading and listening positions, search and navigation tools, accessibility controls, My Personal Space and additional Bible-focused audio, video and Christian resources.
Features may develop and expand as BIBLE.READ grows.
2. Membership Options
BIBLE.READ currently offers two subscription options:
-
Monthly Membership — £9.99 per month, following a 7-day free trial.
-
Annual Membership — £69.99 per year, following a 7-day free trial.
Both plans provide the same BIBLE.READ membership access. The difference is the billing period and price.
The price and billing frequency will also be clearly displayed at checkout before the customer confirms the subscription.
3. Seven-Day Free Trial
Eligible new subscribers receive 7 days of BIBLE.READ without a subscription charge.
A valid payment method is required when the trial is started.
The trial begins immediately once signup is successfully completed. Unless the subscription is cancelled before the free trial ends, the selected paid membership will begin automatically.
For a Monthly Membership, £9.99 will then be charged, and the subscription will renew monthly.
For an Annual Membership, £69.99 will then be charged, and the subscription will renew annually.
The applicable payment date will be shown during checkout or in the customer's subscription account.
4. Automatic Renewal
BIBLE.READ memberships are recurring subscriptions.
Monthly Membership renews each month automatically until cancelled.
Annual Membership renews each year automatically until cancelled.
By starting the trial and supplying a payment method, the customer authorises the applicable recurring payment to be taken after the trial and at subsequent renewal dates unless the membership has been cancelled beforehand.
Where applicable law requires renewal or trial-expiry notices, BIBLE.READ will provide them in accordance with those requirements.
5. Cancelling a Membership
Customers may cancel future renewal of their BIBLE.READ membership at any time through the subscription-management facilities provided with their account.
If those facilities are unavailable, customers may contact info@mishmashpublications.com for assistance.
Cancelling during the 7-day trial prevents the subscription from automatically becoming a paid membership.
Cancelling an existing paid subscription prevents the next renewal charge. Unless otherwise stated during cancellation, access may continue until the end of the current paid membership period.
There is no cancellation penalty for stopping future renewal.
6. Statutory Cancellation and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts any rights that customers have under applicable UK consumer law.
BIBLE.READ supplies digital content and digital services that may become available immediately after signup. Where required by law, customers may therefore be asked during checkout to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge the effect that immediate supply may have on statutory cancellation rights.
Any statutory cooling-off, refund or cancellation rights that apply to a particular transaction will be honoured.
7. Refunds
Subscription fees are normally charged in advance for the applicable billing period.
Cancelling a membership does not automatically create a refund for time remaining in a billing period.
However, this does not affect statutory refund, cancellation or remedy rights. Refunds will be provided where required by law or where a payment has been taken incorrectly.
Customers who believe a payment has been made in error should contact info@mishmashpublications.com.
8. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the payment facilities made available through the Mish Mash Publications website and its authorised payment providers.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their payment and account information remains current and accurate.
If a recurring payment fails, access may be restricted or suspended after reasonable attempts have been made to process the payment or resolve the issue.
Payment-provider terms and privacy notices may also apply to the payment transaction.
9. Customer Accounts
The person entering into and paying for a BIBLE.READ subscription must be 18 years of age or over.
Customers are responsible for keeping their login and account credentials secure.
Credentials must not be sold, transferred or deliberately made available in a way that compromises the security of
BIBLE.READ or allows unauthorised commercial use.
BIBLE.READ may be enjoyed within a normal private or family setting, subject to the account functionality and membership conditions provided within the service.
10. Children and Family Use
BIBLE.READ is intended to be suitable for family use, and children may therefore use the service within an appropriate household or supervised environment.
The paying subscriber must be an adult.
Where BIBLE.READ provides functionality specifically involving children's personal information, appropriate privacy and age-sensitive safeguards will be applied.
Because BIBLE.READ is likely to be used by under-18s, its design and data practices need to take account of the ICO Children's Code, which applies not only to services aimed specifically at children but also to services likely to be accessed by them.
11. Personal Notes, Bookmarks and Saved Information
BIBLE.READ may allow customers to create and save personal notes, voice-to-text notes, bookmarks, reading history and related account information.
Customers remain responsible for the material they choose to record in their personal space.
Personal notes may sometimes reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive information. Such information can fall within the special-category-data protections of UK GDPR and will therefore require appropriate safeguards and lawful processing arrangements.
Full details of how personal information is collected, stored and used will be contained in the BIBLE.READ Privacy Notice.
12. Service Availability and Updates
Mish Mash Publications Ltd will take reasonable steps to keep BIBLE.READ available and functioning correctly.
However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, software updates, internet or hosting failures, security work, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
BIBLE.READ may be updated, improved or expanded over time.
Individual features may be modified where reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal or product-development reasons. We will not use this clause to remove customers' statutory rights.
13. Acceptable Use
BIBLE.READ is supplied for lawful personal, household, educational, church and faith-related use as appropriate.
Customers must not attempt to compromise the service, bypass access controls, interfere with BIBLE.READ systems, scrape protected application data, distribute protected BIBLE.READ content without permission, resell account access or use the service unlawfully.
Serious misuse may result in account restriction or termination.
14. Berean Standard Bible Scripture Text
BIBLE.READ currently uses the Berean Standard Bible (BSB).
The Berean Standard Bible text has been dedicated to the public domain. BIBLE.READ does not claim copyright ownership over the BSB Scripture text.
An appropriate attribution may be displayed within BIBLE.READ, including:
The Holy Bible, Berean Standard Bible (BSB). The Berean Standard Bible text has been dedicated to the public domain.
The official Berean terms state that attribution is appreciated but not required and permit reproduction, integration and adaptation in free and commercial resources.
15. BIBLE.READ Intellectual Property
Except for public-domain Scripture text and material identified as belonging to third parties, the intellectual property associated with BIBLE.READ is owned by, licensed to, or used with appropriate permission by Mish Mash Publications Ltd.
This may include the BIBLE.READ name and branding, software, application architecture, interface designs, graphics, original written material, narration recordings, produced audio, synchronisation systems, videos, films, editorial material and other original content.
No purchase of a BIBLE.READ membership transfers ownership of that intellectual property to the customer.
Customers receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to access and use BIBLE.READ for the duration of their valid membership.
Unauthorised reproduction, redistribution, commercial exploitation or copying of protected BIBLE.READ material is prohibited.
16. BIBLE.READ Trade Mark
BIBLE.READ is intended to be protected as a trade mark of Mish Mash Publications Ltd.
Until UK IPO registration has actually been granted, use BIBLE.READ™ rather than BIBLE.READ®.
Once registration is granted, the registered mark may be identified using ® in accordance with the registration obtained.
17. Third-Party Content and Partners
BIBLE.READ may in future include appropriately selected material supplied by Christian organisations, ministries, creators or commercial partners.
Where third-party content is included, ownership remains with the relevant rights holder unless otherwise agreed.
Partner inclusion does not transfer ownership of BIBLE.READ or the BIBLE.READ service.
18. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the applicable BIBLE.READ and Mish Mash Publications privacy documentation and UK data-protection law.
The BIBLE.READ Privacy Notice will explain what information is collected, why it is processed, how long it is retained, who may process it, and the rights available to individuals.
19. Changes to Membership Terms
These terms may be updated where reasonably necessary because of changes to BIBLE.READ, applicable law, payment arrangements, security requirements or service functionality.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid subscription, reasonable notice will be provided where required.
A change to these terms will not retrospectively remove statutory rights already acquired by a customer.
