Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to all customers shopping through our website and TikTok Shop.

About Our Products

Mish Mash Publications Ltd designs and sells custom-printed products featuring our original artwork. All items are printed on demand and shipped directly to customers via our fulfilment system. While we do not hold stock on-site, we operate through a registered returns facility where authorised items can be sent back if needed. Returns must be pre-approved — we will provide the correct return address and instructions once your request is reviewed.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change-of-mind on any orders placed through our website.

This includes situations where:

  • You ordered the wrong size, colour, or design

  • You no longer want the item

  • The item was a gift and is unwanted

Our fulfilment partner does not accept returns for change-of-mind, and as such, MMP is unable to offer refunds in these cases.

If TikTok Shop policy requires us to accept a change-of-mind return, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Examples of items that are not eligible for return:

  • A t-shirt ordered in the wrong size by mistake

  • A gift that is unwanted by the recipient

  • A change of preference after placing the order (e.g. different design or colour wanted)

  • Items opened or used but not faulty

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We will always resolve any issue where your order:

  • Arrives damaged or defective

  • Contains a manufacturing or printing error

  • Does not match what you ordered

If you experience any of the above, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll ask for photo evidence of the issue to help us raise the matter with our fulfilment partner.

Once confirmed, we will either:

  • Issue a free replacement (shipped at no cost), or

  • Provide a full refund

In most cases, we will not require the item to be returned. However, where evidence is unclear or a return is necessary for assessment, we may request that the item be returned to our returns address before a resolution is confirmed.

Examples of accepted return reasons:

  • Misaligned or faded print

  • Item arrives with visible damage from transit

  • Wrong item shipped (e.g. wrong design or size)

  • Product significantly differs from its description or mockup image

 

Return Shipping

We do not reimburse return shipping costs unless:

  • The item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect

  • A return has been specifically requested and authorised by us

If a return is accepted under these conditions, we will either:

  • Provide a prepaid return label

  • Or cover the cost of return after proof of postage

Customers are responsible for return postage in all change-of-mind scenarios where a return is accepted (e.g. TikTok-enforced returns).

 

TikTok Shop Returns

We also sell through TikTok Shop, which has its own seller policies. We comply with TikTok’s requirements, including:

  • Up to 30 days from delivery to initiate a return request through the app

  • Allowing returns where TikTok mandates seller compliance (e.g. for eligible non-personalised items)

However, because our items are custom-made and fulfilled by a third-party provider:

  • We do not voluntarily accept change-of-mind returns

  • If TikTok Shop requires a return to be accepted, the customer must pay for return shipping unless TikTok provides a prepaid label

All TikTok-related returns must be started through the TikTok app. Visit Your Orders > Request Return/Refund and follow the instructions provided. We’ll handle your request in line with both TikTok rules and our fulfilment process.

 

International Orders

We ship globally via our fulfilment partner. If you're returning an item from outside the UK:

  • Contact us before shipping anything back

  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees

  • Return postage for change-of-mind is always at the customer’s expense

  • Faulty items will be resolved digitally wherever possible

 

Order Cancellations

Once an order is placed, it is automatically processed through our fulfilment system and enters production shortly after. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee cancellations once an order has been confirmed.

If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately at info@mishmashpublications.com If production has not yet begun, we will do our best to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We recommend contacting us within 1 hour of placing your order for the best chance of cancellation.

Orders placed through TikTok Shop are subject to TikTok's order cancellation policies and must be cancelled through the TikTok app if the option is still available. You can do this by going to Profile > Orders > View All > Cancel Order, if the order has not yet been processed. For more details, see TikTok’s Cancellation Policy. If TikTok has already processed the order, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Refund Timelines

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of confirming eligibility or receiving a return (where required)

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method

  • Replacements are arranged within 2–3 working days of confirmation

TikTok Shop Returns Policy Compliance

We sell selected merchandise via TikTok Shop and are committed to complying with all platform requirements, including returns and refund policies mandated for marketplace sellers. Where TikTok Shop’s policies require us to accept returns or provide refunds (e.g. a 30-day return window for eligible items), we will follow those rules in good faith.

However, due to the nature of our business — selling custom-made products fulfilled by a third-party print-on-demand partner — our ability to accept returns is limited. We do not hold stock and cannot restock returned items.

If TikTok requires us to accept a return (for example, in a change-of-mind case), the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost unless TikTok’s system states otherwise.

Where possible, we resolve TikTok-related issues digitally, through refunds or reprints arranged with our fulfilment partner, without requiring physical returns. Our goal is to cooperate with TikTok policies while maintaining operational transparency as a small, third-party seller.

 

Policy Changes & Platform Updates

We may update this Returns & Refunds Policy at any time to reflect changes in law, platform requirements (e.g. TikTok Shop), or our fulfilment partner's terms. The most up-to-date version will always be published on our website.

All returns will be handled according to the policy in effect at the time of your purchase, unless otherwise required by law or platform rules.
